When I started the free improvisation class on Tuesday nights last August, I thought I might have run out of ideas by now. I’m mean it’s been almost a year.
But you keep coming and I keep coming and each week, I don’t know for sure what we are going to talk about because the class is … well… improvised.
You ask questions and bring up ideas, and we play through them to see what we like and what works well.
I hear from my regulars that they are busy creating new music for yoga classes and meditation classes. One student is writing French electro-pop with a harp part. It’s all so exciting!
Right now we are in the middle of me sharing how I play my improvised concert, Seasons of the Soul. It’s a 5-part composition, and we are working on Part 4 on Tuesday, June 13 on Zoom at 7:05pm Mountain Time (Denver, Colorado).
If you’d like to come, please message me, and I’ll send you the link.
If you can’t attend live, the class will be posted in the FB Group, so you can watch later.
Hope to see you there!
Warmly,
Cymber
PS – Starting Aug. 11, I will be offering live Harp Improv PlayShops for EU/UK group members. The PlayShop will be at noon Mountain Time (Denver), and will be in the evening for EU/UK peeps.
