Have You Always Wanted to Play or Sing? Now’s the time!
With COVID dragging on, it’s the perfect time to dust off your dreams of playing the harp. Dust off that poor instrument you have sitting in the corner and give it go!
Maybe you have always wanted to sing, but didn’t have the time. Now’s the time! Zoom lessons are efficient, and I record each lesson, so you can practice.
Want to play piano? Gotcha covered there, too. In fact, the harp and the piano are cousins, so I often recommend that harpists learn a little piano, too.
I teach the way you learn. Are you a reader? Great, let’s pull out some books and tune up your reading. Better by ear? Great, there are loads of wonderful musicians who play this way, too. Want both? You got it.
No matter what kind of music you like to play or sing, my first goal is to bring our your natural style first. We’ll do that with all kinds of games and workouts that provide that deep foundation. Then you can play or sing just about anything you like, including jazz, classical, Celtic and folk, healing music, and improvisation and composition for the the harp.

STUDENT WORK & TESTIMONIALS
My young student plays an original composition that we developed together.
Her photos are from a family trip to Peru, and she edited this video herself.

“I was very fortunate to have the opportunity to spend a month and study harp with Cymber. I immediately felt at ease with her during lessons, as she is a very patient, centered and grounded teacher.” – A. Cortez, Austin, TX, adult student
