You asked for it, and now I offer it – vocal training for harpists and other singers.
You’ll learn how your natural voice sounds when it is strong and working well. You’ll learn how to sing with more power, less effort, and strengthen your unique sound. You’ll be recognizable as you!
I teach Functional Vocal Training, which mean there is no fluffy language, no guessing. You’ll learn how your larynx works and how to produce chest voice, head voice, a mix of head/chest, and belting and bel canto.
I teach Contemporary Commercial Music styles – pop, jazz, country, rock, musical theater, and others – as well as classical singing styles.
My teaching is based on the principles of Somatic Voicework(sm) The LoVetri Method. The method, developed by NYC voice teacher Jeanie LoVetri, gives you a solid foundation in your own natural voice. Once you know where your natural homebase voice is, you can then develop it to sing whatever genre you are interested in. The lessons focus on basic body-centered instructions, as well as vocal health, so the singer can “belt” it out while keeping their voice safe.
I have taken the full training twice, am a Level III practitioner and belong to an association of elite teachers, whose experience and expertise are always available for additional resources and help.
This style of learning is good for anyone – from someone who has never sung before to the seasoned professional looking to expand their repertoire or strengthen their voice.
